A cat on one end, and a dog on the other--what do you call it? CatDog of course!

This is Dog.

Dog is, well, like a dog.  He loves everyone, is always happy in a clueless sort of way, never looks before he leaps, and will eat anything.  Did I mention he's messy?  Dog's a real pig.  Dog loves cat and thinks Cat is a brilliant genius, which suits Cat just fine--until Dog hears the garbage truck, that is!

This is Cat.

Nibbling at perfectly-poached salmon on a silver platter while listening to classical music is Cat's idea of a good time.   Cat loves the finer things in life, and looking sharp is verrrry important to him.  He's not as smart as he pretends to be, but luckily Dog is easy to fool.  Basically, Cat's a good guy to visit, but you wouldn't wanna have him for a rear-end--unless you're Dog, that is.
